Alright I am going on vacation and I need to buy a fish feeder for my tank any suggestions on what brand and the cost I am hopping not to spend over 30 bucks.

Absolutely not. Healthy fish should last a solid 2 weeks without food (they need to in the wild). 5 days is a walk in the park. Also, automatic feeders can easily overfeed fish, leading to huge amounts of decaying food, producing highly toxic ammonia, which would be far more likely to kill your fish than starvation (again, 2 weeks).
EDIT: Turning the lights off doesn’t affect algae spores… they’re spores… they just start growing whenever the conditions are right…
