Autumn and winter are not only seasons when having a good mood is hard but also keeping the house clean is not a piece of cake specially for those who have pets. When the days are wet usually dogs come home all wet and filthy. Not seldom they are trying to get rid of the water that they are covered with by shaking their bodies and spreading it on the floor. When having a puppy keeping a house clean might seem a bigger challenge even during the summer! Got terrified enough? Read how easy it can be to live with your favourite pet in a clean house just after few suggestions.
1) First thing to do is to remember about a good training of your dog. It might seem like something that is hard to believe but well-trained dogs won’t make a mess. We can teach them for example to wait on the mat until we wiped their paws before entering the house.
2) Helpful in having a clean house is having dogs in good condition. It is very important to bathe them regularly which prevents floor covering from dogs odour getting into it. Having to much fur on the bed or under it? Maybe you forgot to comb your dog. The best solution for controlling fur is to groom your dog frequently. Also a good diet rich in vitamins and minerals help dogs not to lose their fur. Healthy pets smell better and look better.

5) Use floor mats both outside your doors and just inside, to catch as much muck as you can from dirty paws. You should place bath mats in your bathroom, doormats outside your door, mats in the kitchen, under pet food and water dishes. The mats collect fur, dust and dirt, and they can be easy to clean in the washing machine. They will also help you keep the mess in small areas that are easy to clean and wash.
6) If it’s possible clean new messes immediately. It is easier to clean them when they’re fresh, and are less likely to leave a permanent stain or attract your pet to revisit the area.
7) Be well-organized, plan everything and you will be prepared for any mess that is coming!
