My dog is obsessed with jewelry. What can I do?
My dog recently became totally obsessed with jewelry. She licks rings, watches, bracelets, necklaces, and anything else shiny. When we have guests over, she tries to mouth their rings.
Sometimes, when we get up from the couch, she tries to snap at jewelry quickly. It has become really embarrassing and dangerous. She will throw herself in front of people in order to get to their jewelry!
Sounds like your pup is Obsessive Compulsive. I just recently watched a show about that on Animal Planet or Cesar Milan on National Geographic channel.
Anyways, grab your harness and leash. Take your pup for a long walk before you have company that will likely have jewelry on, make her tired. Stick your pup in a crate when it starts to misbehave.
